entry: Simon,

I didn't smooth the wheels down or nurb them because I was trying to keep the poly count down as low as possible. In all reality, I was already pretty high so I guess I could have spared a few more. When I smooth out the wheels, they look really nice.

As far as the textures go, I am thinking about something along the lines of the brown urban cammo with some heat blueing on the barrel but that is actually the part that I am learning now is UV'ing and texturing so that will take a while. James and I are both in game design program at AIU in Atlanta Ga. I will tell my professor you said hello.

I see you are in Malaysia. I have been there a few times. What is the industry like there? I really enjoyed my time there as brief as it was.

Thank you very much for the compliment and the advice. Any words from a master are words taken to heart.

entry: Simon, I, like Jcrumley, was given one of your pieces of art as a test by the same professor. My assignment was your ceptor tank. I first of all want to let you know how much I love your work and the detail you put into each piece. It was an honor to be given the challenge to recreate your piece or work. Here is the link to my luxology page. Please give me any feedback you desire if have the time. http://forums.luxology.com/discussion/topic.aspx?id=46786 Once again I just want to compliment you on such great work.

Respectfully,
Jeremy Dean

entry: Thanks I really appreciate that. My teacher wants me to model the back as well he felt there was a lot of detail in the front and not enough in the back but now I can go back in and put that in there. I'm going to American Intercontinental University in Dunwoody, Ga.
